In this course, you’ll build proficiency in SQL, a key language for working with data. Using PostgreSQL, you’ll extract, join, aggregate, validate, and clean data, then calculate metrics, apply statistical concepts for hypothesis testing, and create visualizations to communicate your results.

You’ll use pandas to clean, transform, and join datasets, and apply NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn to explore and visualize data. You’ll also use statistical methods such as sampling and hypothesis testing to evaluate your findings.
By the end of this course, you’ll be able to take a raw dataset through cleaning, analysis, and visualization, and you’ll be able to explain your results.
In this course, you’ll learn Power BI, a widely used business intelligence and analytics tool. You’ll prepare data with Power Query, model it and write calculations with DAX, explore trends, and build interactive reports and dashboards you can publish and share. Along the way, you’ll practice choosing visualizations that fit your audience and make your findings easy to act on.
In this course, you’ll learn how to use AI as a strategic tool in data analytics. You’ll move beyond simple prompt engineering to evaluate AI applications and prompts, prepare data using AI-assisted techniques, and create insights and visualizations with AI-assisted analytics tools.
You’ll also examine the ethics, governance, quality, and risks of using AI at work so you can practice responsible use and justify appropriate AI practices.

- This certificate is designed to be completed within a six-month term with regular participation and consistent progress.
- In total, you will complete three final projects and two certification exams. Final projects are performance assessments, and you must earn a ranking of Competent to pass.
- We recommend completing Data Analysis with SQL before starting Data Visualization.

- You must use a personal computer and a personal internet connection.
- Supported desktop operating systems include Windows 10 or later and macOS 13 Ventura or later.
- Tablets and smartphones may be used to access some course content, but a personal computer is required to complete all certificate activities.
